What is Diabetes? and lots more from Diabetes UK, the NHS, Patient.info, NHS Scotland and BUPA. For other conditions, see our Endocrine Conditions page.
During the current lockdown and in the months beyond, we’re trying to find ways to help our patients (and particularly those at higher risk) to stay safe from this virus. We want you to have the best possible healthcare… but also the safest possible healthcare. That means only bringing you in to the surgery when we absolutely have to. For long term health conditions such as diabetes, asthma, COPD and heart disease most of our reviews will be by phone or video link and when we do bring you in, we aim to do as much as we can in one visit to minimise any risk to you. |
