For advice and urgent medical attention outside our normal surgery hours, please call the out-of-hours service, NHS 111 Wales.
This service replaces what was previously known as ‘GP Out of Hours’, and is operated by the Local Health Board (BCUHB). Calls are taken by fully trained staff and mobile patients are expected to travel to the nearest out-of-hours centre to be seen, if a face-to-face appointment is made.
NHS 111 Wales is a free service which is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Your call will be answered by a specially trained call handler who will ask you a series of questions which will allow the service to signpost you to the correct clinician.
